Baton Rouge Set Schedule For  15h Annual Pride Fest - Proud To Be Me in 2023

The schedule is set for 15th annual Baton Rouge Pride Fest - “Proud To Be Me in 2023,” presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation celebration on June 24, 2023. 

Doors will open at 11:45 am to the Raising Canes River Center Exhibtion halls on June 24, 2023. As in previous years, Baton Rouge Pride take security to heart with metal detectors and security checkpoints at all entrances. 

The festivities will begin on the Rainbow Stage at noon sharp with a welcome from our President and Chair, Dr. Bobbi Wisekal followed by the regocation of Grand Marshalls, Gjvar Paine and Fr. Tommy Dillion, followed by our Pride Court.  

The Blessing of Relationships, sponsored by Metropolitan Community Church Baton Rouge, will take place at 3:00 pm. We enourage all couples in attendance to participate. 

Thought the days you can find performances from your favorite local Drag Performers as well as those by Ru Paul Drag Race Alums Kennedy Davenport, and Jasmin Masters, at 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Followed by Meet And Greets at 5:00 pm. Our first-ever celebrity MC from the original cast of Queer Eye, Carson Kresley, will be hitting the Rainbow Stage throughout the day!

Around the Raising Canes River Center you’ll find amazing fun things to do such as Drag Queen Story Time at 1:30 pm and 5:45 pm. The Queerative Market, a queer makers market in partnership with LEUR Magazine. And the Resource Fair all day long. 

We have partnered with several local organizations to provide FREE HIV testing from Noon to 7pm. We encourage everyone who attends to get tested and help us reach our goal of 500 HIV tests, setting a record for us.
