Cicely S. Moore - Author, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Coach, Humanitarian, and Founder of Gamma Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been a resident of the Baton Rouge surrounding area for 20 years. While being a founder of this prestigious organization designed for Masculine Presenting Lesbians, Cicely has worked with numerous of other LGBTQ + organizations, including Baton Rouge Pride, as she served on the board approximately 10 years ago.

Cicely’s journey began in a small town in Louisiana, where her upbringing instilled in her a deep sense of family, education, and service. Over the years, she has dedicated herself to uplifting marginalized communities and creating spaces of love, acceptance, and empowerment.

As one of the founders and the current President of Gamma Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Cicely has demonstrated her leadership and vision in fostering unity, leadership development, and community service. Her commitment to promoting love, positivity, and peace led her to establish the “MOORE Love, Less HATE” movement, offering holistic approaches to health and well-being.

In addition to her impactful community work, Cicely is a published author of children’s books and a Gratitude and Manifestation Journal, sharing messages of faith, love, and empowerment with young readers.

Cicely’s passion for serving others and her unwavering dedication to creating positive change made her a valuable addition to the team at New Orleans Black Pride in which she was recently named the Assistant Director. Cicely looks forward to working in her new position to continue the mission of celebrating and advocating for the Black LGBTQ+ community.
